Kara M This is a French language movie with English subtitles that I found on Netflix. I'm taking French and was looking for a French movie I could follow along with. I'd never heard of this before. Well, what a little gem! The actors were all top notch and the story moved along and really made you care about what happened to the characters. It followed what happened to a young man, Carl, who became homeless after his parents died in a car accident when he was young. He eventually landed a job babysitting for a single mom, Alicia, who had her own struggles. Everyone lived their lives the best they could and you couldn't help but root for them to succeed. The other homeless man that Carl met was not who he thought he was and the reveal of his prior life at the end was heartbreaking. If you don't mind reading subtitles, Au Plein Air was quite a good, feel good movie ! Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/11/25 Full Review Read all reviews
