Walter Chaw Film Freak Central The best film of the series mainly because it doesn't try to recapture the lightning King caught in a bottle. Rated: 3/4 Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Stefan Birgir Stefans sbs.is The lack of children of the corn in "Children of the Corn: Genesis" isn't the film's main issue. The biggest problem it has is that it's not entertaining. It's boring and at 80 minutes, it feels long. Rated: 1/5 Mar 4, 2021 Full Review Scott Weinberg FEARnet Cheap, lazy, uninspired filmmaking that hopes to coast by on a slick DVD cover and a brand name. Don't fall for it. Rated: 1.5/5 Sep 5, 2011 Full Review Andrew Kasch Dread Central While it isn't anything spectacular, Genesis is one of those low-budget movies you could come across on late night television and easily kill a guiltless 80 minutes with. James B It's low budget and doesn't have the best CGI and most of the film isn't really to do with the corn and he who walks behind the rows and the only interesting bit is the end. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member LOL, the greatest sequel with Billy Drago!!!!!!!!!!! Ages 17+. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review justin t Excellent cinematography and sound. It's hard to make the eighth (ignoring the remake) in a series original and so this just makes it weird. At least it had a big budget modern atmosphere. It looked nice and there were some tense scenes of suspense but the story was really nonsensical. It had a really weak ending and nothing going for it except good technical aspects. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d It feels like it wants to be the remake of Texas Chainsaw. It fails. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
