Robson C 09/28/2024 Misto de documento de uma tour da banda The Clash com a história ficcional de um fã da banda que se torna roadie na tour. Acaba funcionando como retrato da época, onde o Partido Conservador assume o poder, com a Margaret Thatcher como primeira-ministra, recessão econômica no Reino Unido, o surgimento de ideias fascistas, o movimento punk, em um grande caldeirão. O documentário vai mostrando o Clash evoluindo musicalmente, ao mesmo tempo que vão cada vez mais adotando o pensamento comunista. O sucesso é crescente e, cada vez mais o personagem de Ray vai se sentindo deslocado, com o grupo ficando maior e as facilidades de antes não existirem mais, além de conflitos ideológicos. É interessante ver como este tema ainda é comum hoje em dia, quando fãs e artistas vão em rotas diferentes. See more 05/31/2010 Brilliant film and not a documentary at all, rather a hybrid, filming in the world as we live it but with Ray Gange playing a dissolute racist within 'reality', and many of those in the film just playing along thus effectively improvising. Before Borat there was Rude Boy, and the latter is far superior at enlightening the cultural landscape.
