Audience Member Don't let the fact that this movie is Produced by the same people who made Super Troopers fool you. Freeloaders has one scene with the Broken Lizard gang and that part is the funniest in the whole film. The main cast is a weird group of actors that never seem to click together. The film tried to get you to care for a relationship being formed and for this group of friends who are being kicked out of their rockstar buddies mansion because he is selling it. Nothing really worked in this one and for this being a straight up comedy, the laughs were few and far between. While it has a couple good moments you should stay away from this one because it does not even come close to anything that Broken Lizard has put out before. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Does the world really need a Kevin Smith movie ripoff? Or, to be more precise, does it need to be a failed attempt at one? Freeloaders lacks character, acting ability, humor, and charm. What it does have is wasted talent. For example, not even Olivia Munn can save this dreary movie. And even when you have Dave Foley in a cameo appearance, that scene is nowhere near funny. In fact, that's basically this whole movie. It is a giant waste of time and talent. But, there are movies about slackers that are funny (wasn't there a movie like this called Clerks?), but Freeloaders is not that movie. It is not the worst comedy film, but it definitely isn't a good movie and leaves you wondering what these actors were thinking to be involved in a project like this. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Freeloaders is a piece of miserable dreck, the type of film that would have you asking for your money back, even if you saw it for free. Many of the the performances are abysmal, and the jokes feel like they came from a comedy recycling plant. Olivia Munn's performance in the first few minutes alone was enough to make me want to watch something else, and it just got worse from there. The film's lead plays his part like a low-rent Matthew Perry, as though no one told him people didn't flock to see Perry as the lead in films. The rest of the freeloaders were no more interesting, and the romantic interest seemed tacked on. Avoid this film and watch a vine instead; chances are it has exactly the same amount of funny material. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Could have been better, It is what it is but it does have some pretty funny moments, I say RENT IT!!! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A mediocre comedy starring some very funny folks. Freeloaders is not lazy as much as its formulaic and lacking any comedic edge. It's truly just another raunchy giggle flick with a padded, shallow, love story at its core. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Rolf H Classic, stupid party movie with young adult, slacker actors but it contains some epic one liners full of potty talk Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/10/13 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
