Years after the strange drowning death of her father, Tina Shepard (Lar Park Lincoln) returns to the site of his demise, Crystal Lake. Her developing psychic powers were responsible for ending his life, leaving Tina riddled with guilt as an adult. While deceitful Dr. Crews (Terry Kiser) tries to manipulate her abilities for his own ends, both physician and patient are in for a shock when Tina's powers unwittingly free camper-killer Jason Voorhees from his watery slumber.

I did not like the cast, and the sudden use of telekinetic powers pretty much threw me off. The kills were boring, and there were some of the worse kills in the franchise. One thing I did like about the movie is how Jason looked.

filme ruim, o jason começou o filme já morto embaixo da agua, e agarota com poderes psiquicos tirou o jason do rio sem querer, e jason voltou a vida, depois disso o filme virou matança fraca do jason com mais mortes fracas e teve um confronto entre jason vs carrie a estranha e no final um maluco (acho que é o pai da garota psiquica) puxou jason de volta para o fundo do mar. pelo menos teve nudez ao contrário do filme friday the 13 jason lives.

A Friday the 13th sequel that actually has a different unique story? This is simply the best sequel to the original Friday the 13th film that actually did something new and gave me an intriguing story with an intriguing character with a teenage girl who has supernatural abilities taking on Jason......it may sound goofy, but ill take it over so many brain dead sequels of this overrated franchise.
