Audience Member Great actors wasted on a terrible script;one of the problems with making films about historical events is that wild deviation from the facts *detracts* from the effectiveness of the film. The true story is dramatic enough without the horrible, hyperbolic elements that not only disrupt the narrative but also dumbs down any understanding of the real events that might emerge. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Looks like a cheap made for cable fim. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Looks like a cheap made for cable fim. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Looks as cheap as the TV movie it is, god knows why its been put on general release. More realistically should be called "Not Getting Gotti" as this film centres on a case where they spectacularly fail to jail the Teflon Don. Also as is often the case in low budget films a lot of the wiseguys are woefully miscast, none of whom looked tough, more Swiss Tony than Tony Soprano. A case in point was the character who played Paul "Big Paulie" Castellano, who was a very tall man in real life, for some reason in this they chose a guy of average height!!!
