The picture is not as bad, I must admit, as I'm making it sound; but it is not good enough to make me feel particularly sorry about that. Go to Full Review

Well acted inspirational tale about a guy who fought and won a discrimination case against age in WWII, but the spiritual and religious aspects lack credibility. Go to Full Review

02/01/2019 The best inspiring movie ever made! See more 08/08/2015 ok WWII bio-pic made during WWII See more ashley h @ashleyhobgood87 04/12/2012 Plot Outline: Story of a war hero, Colonel Robert Scott, is at center of the film. Col. Scott knew no fear as he took to the air. His comrades, others pilots of the squadron, admired him deeply as he set a clear example about how to his country unselfishly. Picture was made towards the end of World War II is a typical war time film. Story does give so me accurate details on the Flying Tigers and total dominance over the nuermically superior Japanese forces. Colonel Scott was a legimate ace during the war and his story is worth watching. Air combats shown in the film must've been amazing to audiences of the time in which the movie was released. See more 01/14/2008 A very good movie although it doesn't exactly follow the book but still worth watching. There's aren't any major stars except maybe Raymond Massey who was well known for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln in "Abe Lincoln in Illinois." But this is definately a good one.
