I’m going to combine my thoughts on both reviews since they share a similar theme and outcome regarding the films in question: Good Burger and Good Burger 2.
The films feature Keenan and Cal, who were two of the most entertaining duos to ever appear on television during my childhood. Their humor was clever, often reaching a level of absurdity that made it impossible not to be captivated by their antics and character arcs. It was only natural to see these two take their talents to the big screen.
While the original Good Burger had its fair share of dry and corny humor, I found it genuinely hilarious. In contrast, the sequel felt lackluster and uninspired, leaving me bored. Upon rewatching the first film, I realized that my previous enjoyment was likely influenced by my youthful perspective—at its core, both movies are indeed filled with cheesy and silly humor. The iconic line, “Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?” has become a memorable part of cinematic history.
However, the plots and storylines of both films are undeniably cliché. While they may elicit a chuckle here and there, the sequel falters even more than the original, feeling outdated and lacking the charm that made the first film enjoyable. It simply didn’t resonate with audiences, coming across as a flat, bizarre continuation of a story that didn’t need to be revisited.
In the end, they can be amusing if you're in the mood for some lighthearted, silly entertainment. But if you’re seeking a truly great film experience, you might want to look elsewhere.

Simply put, Good Burger 2 is the worst movie of 2023 and one of the worst movies that I have ever seen. I am a fan of the original Good Burger, even though it is somewhat brainless. Unfortunately, the nostalgia and Easter eggs were not enough to bring back even a fraction of the charm of the first film.
The movie started and I was somewhat excited hearing the original score and familiar setting. That feeling of happiness was short lived. Everything about this film is over-the-top and mind-numbing. From Ed's house and kids to the antagonist's motives, the movie left me feeling empty inside.
I am not against reviving TV shows and rebooting film franchises, but if they are made like this, there is a serious problem.
Best Character: Rob Gronkowski
Best Quote: "Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger. Can I take your order?" - Ed

This was on par with the first one. Same cheesy comedy and a very similar plot as the first one. If you liked the first one, you’ll probably like this too.

For those that grew up in the 90s and loved All That, Keenan & kel and Good Burger movie, this movie hits the nostalgic spot! Is it silly, juvenile, even a stoner comedy disguised as a kids movie? Absolutely- but that’s the beauty of it! Instead of watching it through adult eyes and minds, put yourself in your childish nostalgic self and you’ll definitely laugh and enjoy every silly moment of it!

Boring, cheesy/dry humor, and a weird sequel overall. Some scenes are unnecessary and have LOADS of consumerism. In some scenes, there are QR CODES!!!! I mean, who does that for a movie!!! Idk where the codes even lead too but I don’t want to find out. Plus, they cram in a bunch of celebrities to make it interesting, (like mark cuban). They also advertise pop corners in one scene . SO MUCH CONSUMERISM!!!!! The first one is so much better. What have they done to this series. If you like wasting your time and making your day sad, watch this movie😑☹️😞😔😤
