Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express When the plot abandons all pretence of being homegrown, we are in a territory that is so well mined by Hollywood that you start wondering if the Woman Scorned can ever be well done in Hindi cinema. Audience Member Let us discuss the first part which released on 20th April 2012. It casts Nikhil Dwivedi, Gulshan Devaiah & Paoli Dam. This film as the name suggests has to hate at the center and in this part, one can explore the intensity of hate between Paoli Dam and Gulshan Devaiah. What I like about this film is the reality because if you see today's films most of them seem to be fictional but this film could be drawn into reality also. The story was simple but the presentation was very good. The music was average while the direction, screenplay, cinematography are good. I give this film an average rating. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Revenge, prostitution, government corruption, and industrial spying in modern India. Cinematography: 8/10 The camera work varies from just competent to almost glorious. Sound: 4/10 The interjected music routines were more than a bit intrusive, unlikely, and off-putting. Acting: 5/10 This was a mixed bag. Some of the minor players are indifferent. Joy Sengupta was fairly wooden, for instance. Ghishan Deviaiah's Jekyll and Hyde performance was not convincing. On the other hand, Nikhil Dwivedi was fine as Vicky, and Paoli Dam was wonderful as Kavya. Screenplay: 5/10 It is difficult to take this one seriously. That is, did you just do that? Seriously? The plot's twists and turns were frequent and about 50 percent of them were too unlikely to believe. The house of cards the Sid character had constructed was just too unwieldy to hold up to any kind of scrutiny. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member An erotic thriller wherein a woman avenges her exploitation by using the sex as weapon and brings down and business empire of the guy who exploited her physically and mentally. The constant twists keep the audience with the film. Not a great movie but you can see it on Tv provided it does not end up censored Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Extremely bold but good revenge flick. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member First let me start this review by saying this is a Bollywood flick and if your not into them this wont be a movie for you. This movie is a love story gone bad a young girl meets a boy as normal love stories always start and then they fall for each other and the girl helps the boy become a important member of his fathers business and then once she accomplishes that for him the boy dumps her like shes yesterdays news and before all this during their brief love affair they become intimate and all that follows he dumps her like i said then the revenge game starts like the version of Battle Chess on the computer that used to be animated with all the moves. After being dumped she finds out that shes pregnant with the dropkicks baby and then goes and tells him about it to see if he has a change of heart then wat follows is a melodramatic over the top Bollywood flick that he goes after her she comes after him trying to get at each other. In the end this movie does not have any surprises as which way its going to turn although the end was a surprise The only thing i have to say i actually enjoyed about this movie was that the movie casting agent made the bad guy look like a baby face angel and he was like the baddest thing ever and the girls male friend that supported her looks like the bad guy you would see in the typical movies. The only line that comes to mind is the one that says "Hell has no fury like a Women Scorned" and does this girl get her revenge yea she does but with a twist. Watch this if your into Bollywood flicks murder mysteries but its not suitable for the kiddies and the songs are ok but not the point in this movie.
