Audience Member If you like very well made choreographed king fu scenes then this will be hard to beat. The plot is beyond basic and really only exists to support as much fighting as possible. The fights are impressive but I had them on fast forward. The story wasn't amazing but it was interesting. Delightfully grim, and campy. The action and choreography were great. Quite good for what it was. Biggest problem was the sound effects. Omg were they grating and made no sense. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member the original iron monkey is one of the all time great kung fu films. revenge isnt empty in this film as the hero seeks revenge which will also lead to the salvation of the shaolin temple and many other rebels. the kung fu is well choreographed and the story is interesting, overall a great martial arts classic. Kuan Tai Chen depicted the appropriate aura for the main character, which made the film worth following.
