Goran M Absolutely beautiful, one-way action movie with a couple of twists and some unnecessary scenes of violence. Enjoy it, like i did. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/17/23 Full Review Rich H I thought the movie could have been better but the charecter relationships were well done, Majic , Wolfsbane and Cannonball werecwell portrayed for an origin story. The special effect, particularly Cannonball and Majik, were well done. Downside the villian was lame, Dani and Berto could have been done better and reference to X Men and Exxis could have been more developed. Considering all the delays in production and release it was among the best Fox X stories Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm a Lutz fan, but Java Heat is poorly written and filmed. Lutz is trying to track down the source of a terrorist bombing...and the whole plot is done in the most myopic way possible. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This is some Java you can drink for a decent buzz. Plenty of cool, gun-shooting goodness. Mickey R. does not disappoint as a sleazed pervert. This beats Old Rambo any day! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review mauro l With Kellan Lutz and Mickey Rourke could only come out a B movie, which seeks to compensate the shortcomings in each compartment with an excess of twists that results in an almost incomprehensible plot. However, it flows away fast. (Mauro Lanari) Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member After finishing this movie, I am convinced Kellan Lutz will never be in a good movie. The dude sucks something awful. It didn't help that this script was absolute doo-doo either. No actor in Hollywood would've saved this film from its ridiculousness. Literally made the main actor an idiot who doesn't use his brain, at all. I feel bad for Mickey Rourke. Stop doing these films Mickey, you're better than this, way better. Amy Nicholson Los Angeles Times The film's anthropological interest in Indonesia is the smartest thing in an otherwise familiar scramble of kidnapped babes, expensive jewelry and millions of bullets. Rated: 2/5 May 17, 2013 Full Review Andrew Barker Variety The potential fun is all thoroughly undone, however, by an eye-roller of a script and a leaden lead performance from Twilight heartthrob Kellan Lutz. May 15, 2013 Full Review Kyle Smith New York Post Lutz ... doesn't have half the charisma required to hold together this jumble of cheesy shootouts and chases, but at least Rourke provides some unintended laughs with his comical attempts to be evil. Rated: 1/4 May 10, 2013 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Never had a good flow to it. Rated: C+ Jan 23, 2020 Full Review Victoria Luxford The National (UAE) a wretched mess of an action film Rated: 1/5 Oct 18, 2013 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Despite some appealing exotic locales, the action sequences and plot twists are right off the genre assembly line.
