I thought the movie could have been better but the charecter relationships were well done, Majic , Wolfsbane and Cannonball werecwell portrayed for an origin story. The special effect, particularly Cannonball and Majik, were well done. Downside the villian was lame, Dani and Berto could have been done better and reference to X Men and Exxis could have been more developed. Considering all the delays in production and release it was among the best Fox X stories

I'm a Lutz fan, but Java Heat is poorly written and filmed. Lutz is trying to track down the source of a terrorist bombing...and the whole plot is done in the most myopic way possible.

This is some Java you can drink for a decent buzz. Plenty of cool, gun-shooting goodness. Mickey R. does not disappoint as a sleazed pervert. This beats Old Rambo any day!

With Kellan Lutz and Mickey Rourke could only come out a B movie, which seeks to compensate the shortcomings in each compartment with an excess of twists that results in an almost incomprehensible plot. However, it flows away fast. (Mauro Lanari)

After finishing this movie, I am convinced Kellan Lutz will never be in a good movie. The dude sucks something awful. It didn't help that this script was absolute doo-doo either. No actor in Hollywood would've saved this film from its ridiculousness. Literally made the main actor an idiot who doesn't use his brain, at all. I feel bad for Mickey Rourke. Stop doing these films Mickey, you're better than this, way better.
