Estefan S If I happened to be in a coma, and this particular film was on in my hospital room, this mess of 90 minutes of bad special effects that appears to have been filmed in Lincoln, Nebraska, would put me back in my coma. One crew member tries to instigate a mutiny, and at an inquest, the one surviving crew member, the commander, was asked why she didn't relinquish command to the psychotic but more experienced non-commissioned officer. Huh, and the title says it all, wouldn't any planet other than Earth be an offworld alien planet? That of course the Earth seeks to colonize. Horrid writing, bad acting, plot fails, an inquest that makes little sense, no spoilers here, but the space ship crashes due to pilot error but he does feel badly about it at least, 200 dead colonists in frozen stasis barbecued, a mysterious flying something that is never seen, too high budget, the flames were created by my 1984 Coleco computer tapes. Overall, time spent in a film that would be a scream if left with the volume off and drunk obnoxious friends making up lines. I give half a star because the female captain at least had a nice tushie. Happy movie viewing.
