As far as superhero stories go, this is a passable attempt at a reboot, although it can't quite shake the whiff of the buckets of potential wasted by this overly long and mostly uneventful plotline.

I mean, it's the Power Ranger. What do people expect? The show was insanely cringey even for a kid's show. Yet, they did as good a job with this as could be done. It isn't half bad. In fact, it's entertaining. It's just enough silly and has a good enough story to carry your interest. It's very strange how these kid shows and movies of the 80s and 90s are being made into PG-13 clips. I suppose that's because their audiences are all adults now.

None of the bad things that said for this movie was deserved, movie is good with very good editing and I love how they made it more serious and not fake and plastic just like in og shows they where too kiddy for me after growing up, but what can I say people don't know how to grow up and like new things too!!! And this movie is one of them

Not the best thing ever but I enjoyed it. Such a great cast and a great origin story for what could have been a great franchise. Needed more action, script could have been more polished and Elizabeth Banks was not the best choice for Rita.

The loneliness and anxiety experienced by each of the characters perfectly captures how hard it can be to grow up. The fact that the teenagers all come from different backgrounds and are of different ethnicities is the cherry on top of the cake.
