Ruud T Just a bunch of horror things trying to make it scary. Better to see Saw or Jigsaw. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/23/24 Full Review Ricky U I watched this with my girlfriend and the only reason I give it one and a half stars is because we had a fun time laughing about it. I'm a huge fan of horror movies, but this wasn't disturbing in the least. The only times I felt disturbed was when I tried to imagine the plot of the movie being well executed (which it wasn't). The characters constantly switched around from being terrified of the situation to being overly bold. The script is just horrific. At some point emotional music starts playing and we just started laughing because there was absolutely zero reason to feel emotionally connected to anyone in the movie. Don't recommend it at all. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review Andrea C Horror tanto cruento in alcune torture quanto latente nella sceneggiatura. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/23 Full Review k y Kept my attention. Great direction and a good thriller .. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/31/23 Full Review Anna R Perfect for horror fans. It was interesting enough to hold my attention almost all of the way through. Wasn't a story that was believable, which is kind of how the horror genre is. I prefer thrillers and it had a good plot, which I liked. There wasn't much suspense, but it was still entertaining. Was definitely gory to the point of disturbing, much more so than most slasher films, even the first Hostel movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/12/23 Full Review Courtney K meh; i started watching this like 2 weeks ago & just finally finished it. so it wasn't compelling enough for me to finish it in one sitting, but not bad enough to not finish it. i don't think i'd recommend it, but it wasn't a bad watch by the end of it. Alix Turner Ready Steady Cut Splatter-style captivity and survival film from Giles Alderson, which has a decent plot linking present and past, and effective tension and effects. Rated: 3/5 Feb 13, 2021 Full Review Jacob Walker Starburst The Dare just doesn't deliver satisfying enough answers to these questions. Rated: 3/5 Oct 26, 2020 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film As it is, it's strictly one for the gorehounds. Rated: 2/5 Oct 9, 2020 Full Review Terry Mesnard Gayly Dreadful Those jonesing for a jolt of gore will definitely find plenty to enjoy here...it's not my bag. And the characters are just so insufferable I didn't particularly care. Rated: 2/5 Jun 8, 2020 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files The Dare could have used some restraint and a tighter script to be more than just a pale imitation of Saw and other more-gore horror films. Rated: 4/10 Apr 13, 2020 Full Review Norman Gidney Film Threat A nasty, suspenseful, and gory thriller that will keep you guessing to the end. Rated: 8 Mar 29, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews
