Michael C Such a great documentary! Loved getting to hear the story behind the legendary bbq restaurant, and the stories of the amazing people that run the Rendezvous. I think from a business perspective, it was fascinating to see how Rendezvous had developed a culture of buy in towards the overall mission, and the family atmosphere of the restaurant. Loved the film! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/01/24 Full Review HM H Not your regular food movie. Yes, ribs are central to this verite documentary, but the film is really about the people. The infamous servers are the real stars. The ‘Vous is a uniquely Memphis story but it’s also a great American story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/31/24 Full Review Cee B For any of you Documentary junkies out there, this is a fantastic Creative Nonfiction film that really explores the grip that the truth has on us while enjoying a well orchestrated storytelling arc. The film follows the filming event as a moment in the life of this incredibly vibrant other-world in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee. It's a fabulous window into their reality and you will not be disappointed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/02/24 Full Review Patrick B This was a great documentary of an iconic Memphis location.
