Mikel Zorrilla Espinof Good bases, but it doesn't matter if you don't know how to use them, to instead tell us a story with so little blood in your veins. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 28, 2019 Full Review Lucía Ros Serra Espinof Has an excellent cast that seems comfortable with their character, but whose closed knit nature doesn't allow them to go far enough. Late R Like countless other films before it and many that are yet to come, 'Vulcania' doesn't know what to do with its interesting base idea that could have gone in a number of potentially interesting directions and, instead, delivers a badly written, slow-paced mess that doesn't give the story or characters any depth. There were a few times where I almost thought it was going to do something exciting, but as time ticks by, you come to the realisation that they've opted for the safest and most bland possible route that feels like it's missing all the lore and a whole backstory (which, incidentally, would also have been more exciting than what's presented). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/03/22 Full Review Audience Member It is not bad in atmosphere and interpretation, but it is too similar to other proposals. Slow, but not so much to be boing: it seems the main problem is the lack of movement in the plot. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
