Previous Martin Brown Common Sense Media This so-so series dabbles in the South Park, Simpsons, and Family Guy styles of comedy, but it's mostly a straightforward sitcom. 3/5 Aug 17, 2023 Full Review Joey Rambles Cultured Vultures Captain Fall has an interesting enough premise for a dark comedy, but one-note characters, a striking absence of clever jokes, and a deficiency of energy turn this Netflix title into an incredibly lackluster and unmemorable one. 3/10 Aug 1, 2023 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Captain Fall can be silly and profane at times, but it also has some nuanced characters and an actual story, which is more than what we’ve seen from other animated series of late. Aug 1, 2023 Full Review Daniel Hart Ready Steady Cut If you want a genuine laugh in this crime-infested and delusionally-led comedy series, then this series is one of the few surprises this year. 3.5/5 Jul 31, 2023 Full Review Peter Martin ScreenAnarchy The show is completely unapologetic as it consistently ventures further and further into formerly forbidden territory. If something strikes them as funny, Jon Iver Helgaker and Jonas Torgersen are going there, come what may. Jul 28, 2023 Full Review Next

Previous Ulric B First, if there's no season two, I'm dropping some b0dies. Two, this is refreshingly funny. Highly bingeable. Loveable and realistic characters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review Diree Pretty bland. Liza and Pedro are cool. Captain Fall is just not even really in the show much, he's just a side character, and an extremely annoying and stupid one at that. The cop(s) are even worse, to be honest. Just like they did with Norsemen their characters are neither lovable nor interesting, mostly just irritating... And the plot doesn't really make a lot of sense, it's more like a loose series of missions all taking part in and around the ship. It does move along, just very glacially, and veer off course constantly, just to connect them somehow... And it's just not even... Funny, really. The jokes are just... Eh. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/24 Full Review DER B This series is like those cartoon shows you can watch in GTA5 on TV. Its just longer and not as fast paced because of that. But its funny in the same way: makes it feel like the same people worked on all these shows including Captain Fall. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Master K Great ,fun ,animated series Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Siyabonga N I loved every second of this show. It offers a fresh, funny and somewhat realistic perspective. From human trafficking, dangerous superstitions, child labour, domestic abuse, naivety, etc the show explores dark realities in a manner that combines a certain degree of seriousness and humour. The show definitely differentiates itself by touching on some topics we hardly see on TV and while it's light-hearted, there's a lot of times I find myself thinking "This is sad but things like this definitely happen in the world around us". The writing is brilliant and the show works. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/26/23 Full Review Kyle F loved this show! so funny!
