Kevin Pacalioglu (played by the infinitely likeable Tyler Labine), is definitely not your average New Yorker. "Pac," as he's known, is rather clueless, and definitely short on money, but he does have a gift that sets him apart -- he sees dead people. And talks to them. And tries to help them resolve their unfinished issues, though he readily admits there's not a lot of money to be made in helping ghosts. A stay in jail introduces Pac to Clyde Shapiro, an equally unambitious resident of Brooklyn, who allows Pac to share his apartment. Once he learns Pac's secret, though, he eagerly offers to help Pac use his gift to make money.

Audience Member Agreed (with the first two reviews). I was disappointed by the cast changes in season three. It seemed like they were trying to clean it up or something by getting rid of Pac’s drug dealer best friend & cutting his hair / making him less of a deadbeat. Ha. He runs into a millionaire in jail and moves in with him the next day? So they could bring in a more recognizable face? I felt like it became more about the Harold and kumar actor guy’s character and the weird ghost seeing playboy. Still a lot of stereotypes but less realistic / relatable ones… Nerd grows up to be super rich and still can’t get laid / can’t get over his childhood bullying—the kind of bullying I’ve only ever seen on tv and I think maybe used to exist back in the day, but not anymore? Maybe I’m wrong. I was never bullied, but it seemed more unoriginal and unrelatable to me, unlike the first two seasons. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review Audience Member Things changed too much in the third season. New characters that make no sense. The show lost its essence. It might be the reason why it was discontinued. I couldn't finish the 3rd season. It got boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Seasons 1 and 2 very funny, season 3 missed the mark Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Funnier and cruder than the 2nd series, some episodes definitely reminiscent of Harold and Kumar go to White Castle ( maybe because Kai Penn plays Pac's new buddy). Real shame this was not renewed by Hulu after this series, Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
