The small sleepy town of Dannemora is home to the Clinton Correctional Facility, a maximum security prison. Two inmates, Richard Matt and David Sweat become entangled in the life of a married female prison employee in the summer of 2015. Tilly Mitchell, an employee at Clinton Correctional Facility becomes romantically entangled with both convicts and aids in their escape from the facility. Emmy winner Ben Stiller executive produces and directs all episodes.

Michael R One of the few times I will recommend the film version over the book. Excellent acting, cinematography, and direction. Stiller goes a little "Scorcese overboard" on different songs every five minutes but that's just nitpicking. He did a great job. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/03/24 Full Review Elvis P Brings a whole new meaning to the expression slow burner. I'm supprised this is rated as highly. Saying that ,I enjoyed it. It's easy to follow. Maybe a little more violence whould have been appropriate. Not sure why it's an 18.
