Every year hundreds of eyewitnesses record alleged encounters with Bigfoot, a legendary cryptid described as being a large, hairy, bipedal apelike creature. More than a third of the sightings come from the Pacific Northwest. In Travel Channel's "Expedition Bigfoot," an elite team of researchers plugs the reported sightings into an advanced data algorithm to narrow its search for the elusive creature to an area in central Oregon. The eight-part series tracks the teams as it treks into the deep woods hoping to find evidence of the cryptid. Supposedly, they captured a video of two hairy creatures walking upright so they revisited that area. They captured several sounds and thermal images of something. They found nests and footprints. Just when it seemed that they may be on the verge of actually finding something, the season was over. No analysis of any of the findings, no review of the findings, nothing. This season was a total waste of time. Seeing them dashing around at night with bright lights is getting old. I have tried to contact them to bring up the fact that there are NO nocturnal great apes. They seem to believe that these creatures, if they exist, are roaming around at night in total darkness. They need to be sleeping at night when all great apes are sleeping, except any possible sentries, and walking around looking during the daylight, when great apes are know to be moving around. Perhaps Mireya Mayor needs to revisit her primatologist days and recall that apes can't see at night.

Been watching since 1st season and am a fan of the show. I do think if ronny wasnt going to do the 5th season they should of brought Rpg back instead of ex gov. dude who doesnt fit in at all. It does seem that bryce is more at home inside than on the trail of sasquatch,funny to watch him alone on the trail.

If the first 4 seasons were unbelievable, this one is simply lame. I don't think this team could find a McDonalds so much as a Bigfoot.

I never watched Big Foot shows until I watched this one. I am so psyched that season 5 is here. I hadn't really been paying attention as to when to expect season 5. I just did. I have my juice and some good snacks, now I am going to watch the first 4 episodes. PS...I still don't watch Big Foot shows. I am too spoiled to watch the others. Believe me I tried. I am SOOO glad that you are back!
