Deborah Ross The Mail on Sunday (UK) Plod, plod, plod, it went. That said, it wasn't quite as bland as McDonald & Dodds or Midsomer Murders, as there was a horrific twist which did shred my nerves, but otherwise it was generic business as usual. Rated: 2/5 Mar 22, 2021 Full Review Carol Midgley Times (UK) No. Just no. If you haven't yet seen Grace then consider this a friendly warning to brace yourself. Or, actually, don't watch it at all. Especially if you have claustrophobic tendencies, which I do. This was torture by television. Rated: 2/5 Mar 18, 2021 Full Review Anita Singh Daily Telegraph (UK) Grace is one of those dramas in which you shouldn't think too hard about plot points. Rated: 4/5 Mar 18, 2021 Full Review Joel Keller Decider John Simm is the main reason why Grace is such a watchable show. May 6, 2021 Full Review Adam Sweeting The Arts Desk Grace scored highly in design and photography. Rated: 3/5 Mar 18, 2021 Full Review Brian Donaldson The List Despite the pre-watershed kick-off time, there are scenes here which will have you climbing up the walls in anxiety when the prospective groom is victim to a lads' prank that goes as badly wrong as you could imagine. S M Too many black actors make it somewhat fake. Some do not fit in the role. Series promotes sex with black women and afro hairdos. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Dante R I've watched 👀 the show since the beginning but it's absolutely insane for the police not to have guns & run from the criminals that do. I'm from insane amerikkka but the police everywhere should be able to use deadly force against a suspected criminal if self defense is required. That part I don't understand about London. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/25 Full Review Tammie W Great acting. Can't wait for next season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/18/25 Full Review Howie B It is hard to match an actor with what a fan of the books imagines characters to look like. Mostly because we all visualise differently from our readings. John isn't Roy in my minds eye, but he delivers a credible performance. Glenn Branson needs to be a sharper snappy dresser with much more direct positive but good natured put downs. Norman has been made much more politically correct and Bella too sharp. The great positive is the plot development and depiction. Alison Vosper also way off the mark. Cassian is better in his first appearance, a shame he is replaced by another actor. But overall I'll keep watching as the stories and location (my favourite area of the UK) are being faithful to the books in the main. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Audience Member I'm not quite sure why the poor audience rating as this is another well written and character led drama series and even though the 2 episodes (S1) and 3 episodes (S2) don't leave a lot of room to develop the story, it's still gripping and the back-story of his missing wife is yet to fully play out. Can't wait for S3. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Dull, duller, dullest. There could be a decent cop series here somewhere, but this aint it.
