Mallory M @RT47290610 1d I really wanted to like/love it. However, the characters were completely unrelatable and unrealistic. The actress that played Carolyn could not even convince me that she knew how to smoke a cigarette. Both leads were not likeable and over acted in their scenes together. Also, no real chemistry between them. Lastly, I didn't like any of the supporting cast, especially Ethel even though they tried to go back and clean it up. She was nasty and entitled and Calvin was portrayed as a big superficial baby. I would not recommend even if you are bored. See more Yu Y. @RT23985103 5d The dancing scenes are cringe af. See more Linda D @Oontaka 5d I realize this was not a documentary, however, I don't think it is worth the watch. Why they called it "Love Story" is beyond me. Maybe "Infatuation Story"? Neither one knew what love meant in a marriage. They portrayed Carolyn as someone who had to have it her way or the highway. Never considering other people's thoughts or feelings. Having her guests wait 2 hours for her to get to the wedding venue because she didn't want to have the dress lifted over her head fearing it would disturb her hair and makeup is narcissistic. She didn't want John to kiss her first and kept avoiding it until SHE was ready. Waiting 3 weeks to tell John her answer when he asked her to marry him. I could go on but to me, it was two spoiled people competing for position. I think it was a bad match from the start. Dialogues are pretentious as in Ryan Murphy fashion.
