DI Colette Cunningham's no-nonsense approach earns her the respect of her Merseyside Police colleagues, and she seems unflappable, until the body of a young woman is discovered in Dublin.

Anita Singh Daily Telegraph (UK) Paula Malcomson brings depth to Cunningham’s character and makes her believable, despite a script which requires her to say things that only TV characters say, such as: “I’m going to make your life a living hell.” Rated: 2/5 Mar 21, 2023 Full Review Katie Rice London Evening Standard It’s tense, there’s some strong performances, and there’s even a few laughs here and there -- but the drama doesn’t exactly reinvent the wheel. John M This had possibilities, but execution was often weak, and there were critical flaws in the narrative. How (for example) was the lead character - a cop - unable to track down her own daughter, why did she keep the bag of drugs and money, and why did she keep it in her car of all places? Acting was mainly good but Paula Malcolmson had more or less the same expression throughout, regardless of what was happening to her. Far too many shots of her looking thoughtfully into the distance. It kept us watching, but it could have been so much better. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/25 Full Review Andrea B Great BritBox production:-)))) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/18/23 Full Review Helen F A mediocre script with a predictable plot and some quite monotonous acting (apart from a couple of exceptions). And far, far too many aerial shots. But it was somehow comforting to watch - more like a soap than a crime drama. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/17/23 Full Review Precious O Really like it a lot 💯💯💯🔥🔥 especially since hunger games star is leading it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review Ez I Well written, well acted. Excellent crime drama and human interest story. The very first scene felt very formulaic, but after getting a way into the first episode and I was hooked. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/07/23 Full Review Joe W Meh... Ok story and acting. No brilliance here. If you hate "woke", forget this show because it checks a whole lot of boxes.
