It enables Reddick, who is always one of the best parts of the shows he's a part of, to enjoy the type of dramatic athletics actors love to engage in, especially these days... To be clear, Resident Evil is not a good show by any means.

The only reason to watch Resident Evil is if you want to fall asleep. This is a joke and not meant to hurt people who suffer from sleeplessness. But, yes, if you want to put something on that will lull you into a deep slumber, this is it.

Despite its many, many flaws, I still loved the terrible entertainment of the show... What really brings the series down is some very bad and inconsistent production choices, especially regarding the music score and janky sound design.

Too secularized and too politically correct, always advocating feminism. Selfish teenagers feel that the world owes them a vulgar and disgusting rebellious plot, and why do they design the CEO of the umbrella so foolishly and comically. The plot's connection is like a child's fantasy, even elementary school students would struggle and laugh, and this stupid plot happens one after another

Netflix Resident Evil is a decent stand alone watch to kill some time however it doesnt follow any of the Source Material in any way whatsoever so not really a Resident Evil. It does add a few easter eggs from Game Material but sadly they are totally pointless & fail to add anything meaningful to the story. The Flash Back set up is disjointed at best. To summerise, Lance Reddick is the only real GEM in this with his Performance as Albert & his Clones

The bar was pretty low after the half a dozen movies that were, to be honest, so bad they were great! As a fan of the games as well this was just awful, worst of all the the insufferable lead character, Jade. I hope someone who cares about their audience gets the franchise next. I did try to watch this again to give it a chance but it was even worse than the first time.
