Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, a Los Angeles S.W.A.T. lieutenant, is assigned to lead a highly skilled unit in the community where he grew up. Torn between loyalty to the streets, where the cops are sometimes the enemy, and allegiance to his brothers in blue, he strategically straddles the two worlds. Hondo encourages his team to rely on communication and respect over force and aggression, but when a crisis erupts, these unflinching men and women are prepared to put their tactical training to the test.

Bridget McManus The Age (Australia) The formula for this entertaining LA police action drama may be tried and true, but there is more to the personal storylines that offset the crimes than the usual unresolved sexual tension or the work-life balance juggle. Feb 3, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/23/24 Full Review Jasper H SWAT is one of the most realistic yet entertaining law enforcement, military, and combat TV shows out there. The new season definitely got off to an intense start in Thailand. Everything felt authentic in the first episode, with a storyline that was shockingly original and a plot that was gripping to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Sean P Each season keeps getting better and better! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review thanatos i This season was pretty good. There was a fair balance of story, characters and action. Some of it is turning a bit on the political, sjw culture side but it's not too heavy in this season, comparatively speaking. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member If you're into crime shows with a little action. This a good watch. It's not too dark which can appreciate.
