It's not just the source material that makes Soul Power so compelling. The documentary series is masterfully structured, zooming in on star personalities or power struggles, while always relating them back to the narrative. Go to Full Review

Soul Power does an admirable job in introducing both the ABA’s legends and almost legends to the audience, though it will take more than a single episode to add depth to these characters. Go to Full Review

John Y. @JYJr16 Feb 23 Good overview of the ABA from birth to death. Makes you wish that more footage survived. But the interviews paint a good picture of the league. See more Jeffrey K @BASKETBALLJONES466 Feb 15 Growing up in the 60s in the 70s, I was a huge huge basketball fan. Nothing was better than the ABA. See more Fred W @Pignparadise Feb 13 Loved it. I grew up the 60's and seventies. I had a red white and blue basketball. We never saw the games except the ABA all-star games, because their was no TV contract. But we knew the best player in the world was Dr. J. He was a legend, a mythical figure that we never saw. He took on super natural powers in our teenage minds. I had a posture of him flying through the air dunking that magical red white and blue ball. See more Read all reviews
