We got incredible, multi-dimensional characters who made us feel all the emotions and whom we’re going to miss. I can’t remember the last time I fell so instantly in love with new characters. I’m so glad The Acolyte exists and that we got to see it.

Second only to Andor as a Star Wars series, The Acolyte was review-bombed to the point of cancellation by terminally online 4channers, and it’s a real shame. Everything was set up perfectly for an outstanding season 2 that will never come.

I love Star Wars. I’m 40 and it’s been my favorite since I was 5. I love all the cartoon series, etc. I was excited to sit down with my family: wife and two young kids. We watched two episodes on the initial airdate and without me making any negative comments for the first time ever I heard my kids say “Dad you can keep watching but we don’t like this.” I hated it but I had to agree. I watched summaries of other episodes and was shocked that the series actually got made. Thank God that Bob Iger is back and has been cutting crap, giving us less overall content, but what we are getting is gold. I will always love this approach.

A beautiful and well written show that is truly aware of and feels at home in the extended star wars universe capturing the high republic and Jedi at their pompous peak. I was engaged with the characters from the start and the action is excellent.
