Superheroes are often as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and sometimes even as revered as gods. But that's when they're using their powers for good. Season 2 of The Boys was so good, but I felt it was just a little bit worse than Season 1. In this season, they introduced Stormfront (Aya Cash), who was secretly a Nazi trying to manipulate Homelander into teaming up with her. Starlight has officially joined up with the Boys, and she has forgiven Hughie (Jack Quaid) for lying to her. Butcher's wife Becca (Shantel VanSanten) has Homelander's son named Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), and the ending of this season was not good for either of them. Homelander tried taking Ryan under his wing, but Ryan did not like his lifestyle, and he was in a relationship with Stormfront. Stormfront was exposed as a Nazi at the end, and she was killed by Ryan at the end for trying to kill Becca. Antony Starr was even more brilliant in this season, and Homelander has just lost it. Butcher now has control of Ryan, and he sent him off with Mallorie (Laila Robins) to go hide somewhere, and she told him that all of The Boys are now free men. Overall, great season.

This season is amazing! The tv serie is insane and describe a lot of chaos, manipulation, human trafficking, lies, and the darkest parts of society. These elements a even stronger impact when you realize that this actually real.

Pure genius! Not enough good shows like this in tv! It’s definitely a must see if you can handle the stylized gore. 🫣

I loved so many aspects of the first season — I honestly think it’s exceptional. Unfortunately, when it comes to the second season… well, let’s just say that, being generous, I’d call it mediocre.
