Joel Keller Decider The Lady’s Companion is a pleasant-enough romantic period comedy with a colorful look and just enough modern touches to keep the episodes from being a slog of costume-drama cliches. Mar 31, 2025 Full Review Archi Sengupta LeisureByte.com The Lady's Companion is delightfully juicy and thoroughly bingeable, thanks to the sweet characters and their fantastic performances. Eric H Me and the wife could not stop laughing. We both agree they MUST not leave us hanging and bring it back for season 2. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/01/25 Full Review Isa C It's absolutely bingeable and cheeky. The only thing I didn't like is the score, too obvious to look modern. Lavish period drama at it best. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/25 Full Review jade b Visually fabulous with interesting set designs and cinematography… the narration often breaking the fourth wall. Floral arrangements alone get their own star. 🌟 good acting and cast . Unfortunately the FL character does really gross stuff that doesn’t make me invested in her succeeding at anything, let alone deserving of love. She literally manipulates the man she “loves” to unknowingly marry a pregnant teenager? Seriously? How disgusting. There’s lying … and then there’s THAT level of betrayal. She doesn’t deliver the letter to her clients loved one? I mean seriously, this woman is awful. She’s totally untrustworthy and deceptive. So whoever wrote her is delusional if they expect us to be cheering her on. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/29/25 Full Review Hannah P This is a must watch. I binged it so quickly as it was so entertaining and had such beautiful love stories woven into the plot! The main female lead is so entertaining and funny and the main actor was so charming and handsome ;). The costume and visuals were so pretty and the series was so entertaining to watch. The chemistry between all the couples was on fire. I can't wait for a season two! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/29/25 Full Review Read all reviews
