An all-star cast head to a resort and unleash their worst, most privileged impulses. The series is a sharp social satire following the exploits of various guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain, whose stay becomes affected by their various dysfunctions. A week in the life of vacationers is unravelled as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. With each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel's cheerful employees, and the idyllic locale itself.

When this new HBO series begins you think it is going to be a quirky comedy. You are only partially right with that guess. Yes, it is odd and funny but there is also an unexpected and delightful dark side to White Lotus.

This is just a Love Boat for the 2020s. A Love Boat/Fantasy Island type thing. Nothing that new or compelling here; it's a lot of sophomoric frolics in the tropics. To me it's a big yawn.

it starts out extremely slow, very slowly building small amounts of character development. lots of slow motion interspersed for no obvious reason just makes the scenes drag on without any payoff. there's doesn't seem to be an underlying plot through the first 3 episodes at all. just kind of a dramatic documentary with a few spots of chuckle worthy mishaps or jokes. maybe the final episodes are a lot more interesting. it's just very boring to sit and watch, and maybe it's designed to be viewed while you're studying or doing something else and it plays in the background. i don't know, i don't get it.

You can tell this was made with the sole intention of making memes online and going viral. There is barely a story and just a random load of things happening for barely any reason. The acting is also pretty bad. Made for the social media generation for shock value more than anything. Like too many things of late, very little creativity. Also, how do they possibly get the music to not fit any part of the show? It's a talent for sure.

Great show for all the suspense and build up to a death in the resort. Many of the characters are believable and great to follow especially Tanya and the Mossbacher family. That said the always fighting honeymooners were really unbelievable and detracted from the rest of the show.

If I could rate this negative stars I would. This is the absolute worst piece of media I’ve ever seen. There’s no plot at all, nothing of significance happens at all. A bunch of random things happen to a bunch of random people for an entire season. The social media age is the only reason this show is popular and my wife is forcing me to watch it. What a waste of 10 hours of my life. I created a rotten tomatoes account to rate this show it was so bad. It’s so bad I’m angry

A fully engaged ensemble cast, all impeccable dressed and in an exotic location, will keep you interested all the way through. And if those are Alexandra Daddario's real eyes I am very much impressed. The only drawback (which holds true for all 3 seasons) is it's a little slow/detail oriented.
