Eric N Season 4 of Trying took a big leap forward chronologically - and it was hard to know if that gamble would pay off. It turns out that the decision was a smart one, as it allowed new story arcs to develop for all the characters. Trying is such an underrated, unheralded, emotional and heartwarming show that it's truly a shame more people haven't discovered it. However, for those of us who watch Apple TV+ because they enjoy programs that aren't low budget, slapdash, cookie cutter retreads, Trying is just one more show that makes us thankful this streamer exists. I love this show and, with the numerous open-ended storylines that are left to explore in Season 4, I truly hope that Apple TV+ announces a renewal for Season 5. The time jump was done FANTASTICALLY. Rafe Spall and Esther Smith shine with their authentic chemistry, bringing both humor and emotion to their roles. The writing remains sharp, blending laughter and heartfelt moments seamlessly. The supporting cast and vibrant visuals add to the show's charm. This season delves deeper into the characters' emotional journeys, especially with Princess trying to find herself and make sense of her life, making it a relatable and uplifting watch. "Trying" continues to be a must-watch series, perfect for anyone looking for a genuine and inspiring story. I just cant recommend the show enough and I cannot wait for Season 5.
