Annabel Jones
A long-running senior figure at independent production company Endemol, television executive Annabel Jones became a regular collaborator of dark genius Charlie Brooker, working on both his famously sardonic review shows and his twisted anthology series "Black Mirror" (Channel 4, 2011-). Jones began her behind-the-scenes career as a business analyst at The Mill and Mill Film Group in 1999 before joining the British arm of Dutch media company Endemol two years later, where she led the Mergers and Acquisitions Team and served as the Head of Business Development. In 2004 Jones was appointed Managing Director of Zeppotron, Endemol's comedy-based offshoot which would go on to produce Charlie Brooker's eponymous cult TV review show "Screenwipe" (BBC Four, 2006-08). Jones subsequently worked as an executive producer on several of Brooker's commentary shows including "Newswipe" (BBC Four, 2009-10), "How TV Ruined Your Life" (BBC Two, 2011) and "Weekly Wipe" (BBC Two, 2013-). Having also worked with Brooker on his zombie-infected reality TV satire "Dead Set" (E4, 2008) Jones then joined him again for his lengthier ventures into fictional territory, the detective spoof "A Touch of Cloth" (Sky1, 2012-14), and more notably the twisted technology-based anthology "Black Mirror" (Channel 4, 2011-). Jones oversaw its first six episodes and feature-length special starring Jon Hamm, as well as its transfer to Netflix, and in 2014 co-founded a production company with Brooker named House of Tomorrow.
