Anthony Dawson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Dawson landed roles in various films, including "The Queen of Spades" (1948), the Ray Milland suspenseful adaptation "Dial M For Murder" (1954) and the Olivia de Havilland dramatic adaptation "That Lady" (1955). He also appeared in "The Haunted Strangler" (1958) and "Libel" (1959) starring Dirk Bogarde. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Midnight Lace" (1960), "The Curse of the Werewolf" (1961) and the action picture "Dr. No" (1963) with Sean Connery. He also appeared in the Kim Novak comedy adaptation "The Amorous Adventures of Moll Flanders" (1965). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the drama "Inchon" (1982) with Laurence Olivier, "The Jigsaw Man" (1984) starring Michael Caine and the comedy "Where Is Parsifal?" (1984) with Tony Curtis. He also appeared in the Walter Matthau comedic adventure "Pirates" (1986) and "Ghoulies II" (1988). Dawson more recently acted in "Spieler" (1990) with Anica Dobra.
