Barbara Brown
Barbara Brown was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Brown started her acting career landing roles in such films as the Joan Bennett comedy "The Wife Takes a Flyer" (1942), the Fred Astaire musical "You Were Never Lovelier" (1942) and "The Falcon and the Co-eds" (1943). She also appeared in the comedy "Reveille With Beverly" (1943) with Ann Miller, "The Doughgirls" (1944) and the dramatic biopic "The Sullivans" (1944) with Anne Baxter. She continued to act in productions like "The Beast With Five Fingers" (1947), "That Way With Women" (1947) and "High Barbaree" (1947) with Van Johnson. She also appeared in the Raymond Walburn comedy "Henry, the Rainmaker" (1949). In the latter half of her career, she tackled roles in the drama "An Annapolis Story" (1955) with John Derek, the comedy adaptation "My Sister Eileen" (1955) with Janet Leigh and the Liberace dramatic adaptation "Sincerely Yours" (1955). She also appeared in "The Lollipop Girls in Hard Candy" (1976). Brown was most recently credited in "Scream Queens" (Fox, 2015-). Brown passed away in July 1975 at the age of 74.
