Brooke Van Poppelen
Born and raised just outside of Detroit, Michigan, Brooke van Poppelen knew that she wanted to be involved in the performing arts. After attending Michigan State University, van Poppelen's first move was to Chicago, where she took classes and performed with Improv Olympic and Second City. Her career in comedy gained momentum when van Poppelen moved to New York and began to work the stand up stages and sketch shows. Her first on-screen appearances came as a comedy panelist on shows like "Failosophy" (MTV, 2013) and "World's Dumbest" (truTV, 2008-2014). In 2015, van Poppelen premiered as the co-host of "Hack My Life" (truTV, 2015-). The show featured van Poppelen and co-host Kevin Pereira testing the efficacy of life hacks from the internet.
