Carl Duering was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Duering began his acting career with roles in such films as "The Red Beret" (1953), the dramatic adaptation "The Colditz Story" (1955) with John Mills and the Cornell Borchers drama "The Divided Heart" (1955). He also appeared in the Gregory Peck dramatic adaptation "Arabesque" (1966) and the comedy "Duffy" (1968) with James Coburn. He kept working in film throughout the seventies, starring in the action movie "Underground" (1970) with Robert Goulet, "A Clockwork Orange" (1971) and the Timothy Bottoms war "Operation Daybreak" (1975). He also appeared in "Voyage of the D*mned" (1976). Duering continued to exercise his talent in the eighties through the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Smiley's People" (1982-83), "Sleep Well, My Love" (1987) starring Debra Beaumont and "Shining Through" (1992) starring Michael Douglas. His credits also expanded to "Deja Vu" with Stephen Dillane (1998). Duering most recently acted in "Saltwater" (2001) with Peter McDonald.
