      Dave Johnson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "The Kentucky Derby" (1986-87), "The Preakness Stakes" (ABC, 1986-87) and "The Belmont Stakes" (ABC, 1986-87). He also worked in film during these years, including a part on "Rampage" (1992). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Dellaventura" (CBS, 1997-98). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "The 122nd Preakness Stakes" (1996-97), "The 125th Kentucky Derby" (ABC, 1998-99) and "The 131st Belmont Stakes" (ABC, 1998-99). He also appeared in "The 126th Kentucky Derby" (ABC, 1999-2000). Johnson most recently appeared in "Ruffian" (ABC, 2006).
