Derick Thomas
Derick Thomas (Prince) is a writer, producer and director from Baltimore, Maryland. Armed with a master's degree in Communication Studies from Morgan State University, he worked as a news videographer-journalist. In 2001 Thomas opened his own production company. Thomas was the executive producer of "Charm City" (2006) and wrote the (2007) urban drama "4 Life". He was the director of the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival award winner "Raising Wolves" (2012) and "The Heroin King of Baltimore: The Rise and Fall of Melvin Williams" (2013). In 2020, Thomas released "Unplug" (credited as Dereck Prince), a drama about a retiring gangster leaving his life of crime before his gets killed.
