Gayne Whitman
Gayne Whitman was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Whitman's career beginnings included film roles in "The Night Cry" (1926), "Parachute Battalion" (1941) with Robert Preston and "My Gal Loves Music" (1944). Whitman then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Between Midnight and Dawn" (1950), the action movie "Big Jim McLain" (1952) with John Wayne and the Cleo Moore drama "Strange Fascination" (1952). He also appeared in "Dream Wife" (1953) with Cary Grant. Later in his career, Whitman acted in the crime feature "One Girl's Confession" (1953) with Cleo Moor.
