George is under the impression that he is beginning to lose touch with reality when he finds himself living the same day over and over again. A chance encounter with a man called Archie reveals that George is very much in touch with reality, but at the same time, reality can be stranger than fiction. With George's newfound understanding of his power and perception of space-time, he is forced to choose between loyalty to an organization trying to save the world and the ability to rewrite the past for a friend.

Judy Berman TIME Magazine More than its action or intrigue, what makes The Lazarus Project such a compelling work of science fiction is its insights into human psychology and relationships. Jan 3, 2024 Full Review Leila Latif Guardian This twisty time-loop thriller gets even more dramatic in its second outing. Paapa Essiedu’s George is a jittery joy in a smart, sharply scripted show that’s lots of fun to watch Rated: 4/5 Jan 3, 2024 Full Review Jasper Rees Daily Telegraph (UK) The handsome cast inject as much humanity as they can, especially into quieter scenes. Some dialogue is beyond redemption... Rated: 3/5 Nov 15, 2023 Full Review Alberto Carlos Espinof The Lazarus Project delves further into its internal chaos, offering a great, addictive science fiction thriller that moves well with a dose of adventure and conspiracy (within the conspiracy) typical of espionage. Chinonso O Season 1 started of slow but ended with a bang, season 2 follows through on that excitement every step of the way. WE NEED A SEASON 3 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/10/25 Full Review Ew I Season 1 was really good but season 2 takes it to a different level for me; really exciting and complex. Hope there's going to be a season 3 at some point. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/10/25 Full Review Timothy B Sadly lacking after watching the first season. The second season is disjointed with tons of plot holes and a lot of resets that seem unnecessary. By the time you get to the last episode of the season you will be scratching your head trying to piece things together that make no sense at all. It's a shame after watching the first season. The finale will make you so angry. What a waste of my time watching this shite. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/10/25 Full Review Mark H I don't understand why people don't love this series. It is well done and well acted. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/09/25 Full Review Patrick J The Lazarus Project is easily one of the best shows I've seen in a long while. The fact it started on SKY in the UK and survive past the second season is a travesty. It's now on NETFLIX and if everyone thinks of if the way I do, the might pick it up and pull the actors back together for additional seasons. That would be amazing! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/03/25 Full Review Joshua C I'm a big fan of the show for multiple reasons: one is because it is a fresh take on time travel. Think Groundhog Day with her world ending twist. And the other reason is because of the moral and ethical dilemmas that can arise due to the lack of consequences when / if time is reset. Very cool.
