George is under the impression that he is beginning to lose touch with reality when he finds himself living the same day over and over again. A chance encounter with a man called Archie reveals that George is very much in touch with reality, but at the same time, reality can be stranger than fiction. With George's newfound understanding of his power and perception of space-time, he is forced to choose between loyalty to an organization trying to save the world and the ability to rewrite the past for a friend.

More than its action or intrigue, what makes The Lazarus Project such a compelling work of science fiction is its insights into human psychology and relationships. Go to Full Review

This twisty time-loop thriller gets even more dramatic in its second outing. Paapa Essiedu’s George is a jittery joy in a smart, sharply scripted show that’s lots of fun to watch Go to Full Review

The handsome cast inject as much humanity as they can, especially into quieter scenes. Some dialogue is beyond redemption... Go to Full Review

The Lazarus Project delves further into its internal chaos, offering a great, addictive science fiction thriller that moves well with a dose of adventure and conspiracy (within the conspiracy) typical of espionage. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Roxanne K @LemonPepperChicken Dec 2 This show did not disappoint! This is a mystery sci-fi thriller that has great characters and a plot that manages to stay fresh with every episode. It goes between intense anticipation to entertaining humor in the way ground hog day meets oceans eleven would. Please, I'm begging Netflix execs to renew this for more seasons. See more Angela Z Oct 1 I absolutely loved this show. I really hope a streaming service picks it up for another exciting season. I get really sick and tired of getting hooked on a series, and then it gets cancelled. It really makes me want to stop investing my time and interest into shows. You never know which ones will get cancelled on a cliffhanger. Just stop please. Lazarus Project needs to be picked up and continued ! See more Nikki P Sep 9 The protagonist is emotionally manipulative and all around a pretty terrible person. I had more sympathy for everyone else. None for George. Any of the other characters could have carried this show further. See more Michael K Sep 4 Season 1 had some issues but overall was great. Season 2 jumps the shark. Disjointed, derivative, and the ending made me angry. I do not understand how this show could have a 100% Tomatometer score, maybe the movie was better. See more Kalissa H @kali_416 Aug 30 I only got through one episode of season 2. George is kinda boring. I wish the show focused more on any of the other characters. See more Daniel O Aug 30 If you're into time travel, you should definitely watch it. If it's not your favorite genre, you should still watch it. I watched both seasons in quick succession within a 2 week period. That should say enough. An original take on time travel that kept it real without overdoing it. I loved how certain scenes and shots were reused because it added to the reality of it all. The take on "groundhog day" was unlike I've seen before, and I could literally feel the character's pain. Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger because they were expecting a Season 3, but somehow, I'm still not mad. It was two seasons of amazing, refreshing original content. See more Read all reviews
