Gordon Westcott
Gordon Westcott was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Westcott kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Enemies of the Law" (1931), the western "Heritage of the Desert" (1932) with Randolph Scott and "Private Detective 62" (1933). He also appeared in the drama "Heroes For Sale" (1933) with Richard Barthelmess, "Lilly Turner" (1933) and "Footlight Parade" (1933) with James Cagney. His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like "The Crime of the Century" (1933), the George Arliss drama "The Adopted Father" (1933) and "I've Got Your Number" (1934). He also appeared in "Fashions of 1934" (1934). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Murder in the Clouds" (1934), "Six Day Bike Rider" (1934) and "Registered Nurse" (1934). He also appeared in the Al Jolson musical "Go Into Your Dance" (1935). Westcott more recently acted in "The White Cockatoo" (1935). Westcott passed away in October 1935 at the age of 32.
