      Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Griffith Brewer graced the silver screen many times. Early on, Brewer mostly landed roles in various films, including the Tom Berenger drama "In Praise of Older Women" (1979), the horror feature "Happy Birthday to Me" (1980) with Melissa Sue Anderson and the Stephen Lack horror flick "Scanners" (1981). He also appeared in "The Peanut Butter Solution" (1985) with Mathew Mackay. He also was featured in the miniseries "Spearfield's Daughter" (1985-86) and "Ford: The Man and the Machine" (1986-87). He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "Wild Thing" (1987) with Robert Knepper, the drama "Moody Beach" (1990) with Michel Côté and "Map of the Human Heart" (1993). He also appeared in the action flick "Warriors" (1994) with Gary Busey. In his more recent career, he continued to act in the Andrew Tarbet comedy "Cafe Ole" (2001). He also was featured in the TV movies "The Witness Files" (Cinemax, 1999-2000) and "Nuremberg" (TNT, 1999-2000). Brewer most recently acted in the Ben Affleck hit action film "The Sum of All Fears" (2002).
