Harry Holman
Harry Holman was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Holman began his acting career with roles in such films as the comedy "Sporting Blood" (1931) with Clark Gable, "The Conquerors" (1932) and the thrilling adaptation "Doctor X" (1932) with Lionel Atwill. He also appeared in the Adolphe Menjou mystery "The Circus Queen Murder" (1933), the Dickie Moore drama "Oliver Twist" (1933) and "The Devil's Mate" (1933). His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like "The Woman Accused" (1933), the drama "Our Daily Bread" (1934) with Karen Morley and "The Meanest Gal in Town" (1934). He also appeared in "Night Alarm" (1934). Nearing the end of his career, he continued to act in "In Caliente" (1935), "Josette" (1938) and "I Killed That Man" (1941). He also appeared in the Gary Cooper drama "Meet John Doe" (1941) and the James Cagney comedy "The Bride Came C.O.D." (1941). Holman more recently acted in "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946). Holman passed away in May 1947 at the age of 85.
