Joan Gardner
Over the course of her career, Joan Gardner has lent her memorable voice to a variety of Hollywood productions. Early on in her acting career, Gardner landed roles in various films, including "The Scarlet Pimpernel" (1935) with Leslie Howard, "The Man Who Could Work Miracles" (1936) and "The Rebel Son" (1939). Additionally, Gardner added her pipes to the television series "Valley of the Dinosaurs" (CBS, 1974-76). Gardner more recently voiced characters in "Pound Puppies" (ABC, 1986-87). Gardner passed away in September 1999 at the age of 85.
