Karla Hidalgo
When it comes to blending documentary and nostalgia into an easy-to-digest package, few were as passionate or successful at it as Karla Hidalgo. Best known for executive producing the, "I Love the...," mini-series on VH1 that chronicled pop culture one decade at a time, one of Hidalgo's earliest credits was on the network's long-running series "The Greatest" (VH1 1998-2013). Specifically, she was a producer on the segment "100 Greatest Rock & Roll Moments on TV," which aired in 2000, and covered such watershed moments as Elvis Presley's "Aloha from Hawaii" concert in 1973.
