Lester Sharpe was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Sharpe began his acting career with roles in such films as "Time to Kill" (1942), "Hangmen Also Die" (1943) with Brian Donlevy and "The Mummy's Ghost" (1944). He also appeared in "Call Northside 777" (1948) with James Stewart. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Song of My Heart" (1948), the Cary Grant comedy "I Was a Male War Bride" (1949) and "Mystery Submarine" (1950). He also appeared in "The Flying Saucer" (1950). In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the drama "The Basketball Fix" (1951) with John Ireland, the drama "Carrie" (1952) with Laurence Olivier and "Princess of the Nile" (1954) starring Debra Paget. Sharpe last acted in the dramatic adaptation "The Silver Chalice" (1954) with Virginia Mayo. Sharpe passed away in November 1962 at the age of 68.
