Lila Downs
Lila Downs brought her musical talents to a variety of films over the course of her Hollywood career. Downs worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Frida" with Salma Hayek (2002), "Real Women Have Curves" with America Ferrera (2002) and "The Life and Times of Frida Kahlo" (PBS, 2004-05). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Downs's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Bobby Z" (2007) with Paul Walker and the Michael Fassbender crime drama "The Counselor" (2013). Most recently, Downs acted in the dramatic comedy "Mariachi Gringo" (2015) with Shawn Ashmore.
