Noah Ritter
Noah Ritter was just an ordinary 5-year-old until a local news clip went viral, catapulting the young man to stardom. Born on November 8, 2008 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Noah was enjoying a day at the county fair with his Grandpa Jack during the summer of 2013, when he was approached by Newswatch 16 reporter Sofia Ojeda for an interview. The ensuing one minute, thirty-three second clip, during which Noah gripped the microphone like a seasoned pro, spoke in a hilarious deadpan monotone eerily similar to Howard Cosell, and most importantly used the word "apparently" over and over again, became a viral sensation, and suddenly everyone wanted an audience with "The Apparently Kid." Noah was featured on "The Colbert Report" (Comedy Central, 2005-2014), was interviewed by Michael Strahan on "Good Morning America" (ABC, 1975-), and became a regular fixture on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" (NBC, 2003-). In 2017, Noah scored his biggest gig yet, as a judge on the reality competition series "The Toy Box" (ABC, 2017). Hosted by Eric Stonestreet of "Modern Family" (ABC, 2009-), the show features toy inventors looking to mass produce and sell their creations (think "Shark Tank" [ABC, 2009- ] for the elementary school set). Not a bad gig for a kid from Wilkes-Barre, apparently.
