Reginald Barker, originally of Canadian descent, made his entertainment career directing for the big screen. Barker received his start directing films, including work on "The Bargain" (1914), "The Disciple" (1915) and "Between Men" (1916). In those years, Barker directed "Civilization" (1916), "Hell's Hinges" (1916) and the comedy adaptation "Seven Keys to Baldpate" (1929) with Richard Dix. He also appeared in "The Moonstone" (1934). Later in his career, Barker directed "The Healer" (1935). Barker passed away in February 1945 at the age of 59.
