Rodney Jerkins
Throughout his Hollywood career, Rodney Jerkins's musical talent was featured in a variety of Hollywood productions. Jerkins began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Booty Call" (1997), the Shaquille O'Neal action movie "Steel" (1997) and "10 Things I Hate About You" (1999). His music also appeared in "Blue Streak" (1999) with Martin Lawrence, the action film "Any Given Sunday" (1999) with Al Pacino and "Center Stage" (2000) with Amanda Schull. In the early 2000s, Jerkins devoted his time to various credits, such as "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" with Frank Welker (2001), "Honey" (2003) starring Jessica Alba and the Anna Faris and Anthony Anderson blockbuster "Scary Movie 3" (2003). He also worked on "My Baby's Daddy" (2004) starring Eddie Griffin. Jerkins's music was also featured in the Michael Jackson documentary "Michael Jackson's This Is It" (2009), "What To Expect When You're Expecting" (2012) and the Neil Patrick Harris children's sequel "The Smurfs 2" (2013). His music was also featured in the romantic comedy "That Awkward Moment" (2014) with Zac Efron and the Jim Parsons hit animated feature "Home" (2015). Jerkins's music was most recently featured in the comedy sequel "Vacation" (2015) with Ed Helms.
